JOHN PART will open his challenge to win a second successive European Tour title against Vincent van der Voort in Sindelfingen on March 30, while top seed Dave Chisnall drew St Helens rival Michael Smith.
Canadian legend Part took victory in the first of this year's eight £100,000 European Tour events when he won the UK Masters at the Butlins Minehead Resort last weekend.
He also won through Friday's UK Qualifier for the second European Tour event alongside 19 other players in Wigan, who all earned places to compete at the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen, Germany from March 30-April 1.
Part drew Holland's Vincent van der Voort for their first round clash, which will take place on Friday March 30 as the 64 competitors meet across two sessions on the opening day.
Number one seed Dave Chisnall, who topped the One-Year Rolling Order of Merit from which the 32 seeds are taken, has drawn youngster Michael Smith in the first round.
Michael van Gerwen, the number two seed, will play one of the eight European Qualifiers who will earn their spot in the event on Thursday March 29, when the final places are decided in the European Qualifier and Host Nation Qualifier.
Number three seed Simon Whitlock will play a Host Nation Qualifier, with Wes Newton, Kevin Painter and Peter Wright also assured of a German opponent in the first round.
Justin Pipe, Mervyn King, Andy Smith, Colin Lloyd, Paul Nicholson, Scott Rand and Darren Webster have also drawn European Qualifiers for their first round games.
Ian White, who was the runner-up to Adrian Lewis in last year's European Tour event in Sindelfingen, has drawn James Richardson, while Premier League stars Andy Hamilton, James Wade and Robert Thornton meets Gareth Pass, Nick Fullwell and Ricky Sudale respectively.
Belgium's Kim Huybrechts will face Steve Hine in a quick-fire contest, Terry Jenkins drew Tony West and Dean Winstanley will play Scot John Henderson.
The schedule of play will be confirmed in due course.
