PHILIPPINES thrower Edward Santos is the latest International Qualifier for the 2014 Ladbrokes World Darts Championship, with the next month to see the culmination of the race to win Alexandra Palace places.
Santos, nicknamed "The Ace" will make his World Championship debut after defeating Alexis Toylo to win the Philippines Qualifier in Pasig City.
Santos, from Malabon City, will now succeed the likes of Christian Perez and Lourence Ilagan by representing his country at Alexandra Palace in December.
He is the ninth of the International Qualifiers who have secured their World Championship places ahead of the event, with the remaining events being held in the next month around the world.
The culmination of qualifying events in Japan, Iberia, Germany and Eastern European will take place, with the Greater China Qualifier being held on October 26 and the Western Europe Qualifier taking place in Italy on November 10.
The winner of the North American Championship Tour Order of Merit will be determined following the events on November 2-3, with the top-ranked player from DARTSLIVE - THE WORLD on November 3 also qualifying.
The PDPA Qualifier winner and runner-up from the knockout event in Barnsley on November 25 will also qualify, with the winner being directly into the first round and the runner-up entering in the preliminary round.

If this player has also qualified for the World Championship through another route, then the second-placed player from the Challenge Tour OOM (Ben Ward) will be offered this place.
