PHIL TAYLOR and Michael van Gerwen drew qualifiers Jim Walker and Alan Tabern in the first round of the Austrian Darts Open, while 2012 winner Justin Pipe will play Kevin McDine when the European Tour event in Wiener Neustadt begins on May 31.
World Champion Taylor will kick off his challenge to claim the £20,000 first prize at the Arena Nova in Wiener Neustadt when he plays Derby-based Walker, who was one of the 20 UK Qualifiers to win through to the main European Tour event.
McCoy's Premier League Darts leader Michael van Gerwen, the number one seed for the event, takes on left-hander Alan Tabern, while number two seed Simon Whitlock will take on Steve Hine in the first round.
Number three seed Dave Chisnall has drawn one of the four Host Nation Qualifiers - who will win their places in the event on Thursday May 30 - while Terry Jenkins, Mark Walsh and Andy smith will also face Austrian opposition.
Justin Pipe, who won the biggest title of his career at last year's Austrian Darts Open, drew qualifier Kevin McDine, while world number three Adrian Lewis faces another former World Champion, Steve Beaton.
John Part and Wes Newton, this year's two previous European Tour winners, will play Kevin Dowling and Paul Barham respectively in the first round, while Gary Anderson meets John Bowles, Paul Nicholson drew Nigel Heydon and Kim Huybrechts faces Joe Cullen.
Premier League stars James Wade, Raymond van Barneveld, Andy Hamilton and Robert Thornton were amongst the eight players who drew European Qualifiers, and they too will learn their opponents on May 30.
The Austrian Darts Open will be held from May 31-June 2 at the Arena Nova in Wiener Neustadt.
