This week the Premier League rolls into Manchester, and after last weeks topsy-turvy week what can we expect this week?
Michael van Gerwen v Wes Newton
Adrian Lewis v Gary Anderson
Simon Whitlock v James Wade
Raymond van Barneveld v Robert Thornton
Phil Taylor v Andy Hamilton
van Gerwan against Newton kicks us off. This should be a good starter. Mighty Mike has been off his game for over a week now (shock horror) and Newton seems to be finding his feet on the big stage. So it either going to be an epic battle or a complete let down.
Lewis v Anderson is next on. Jackpot is riding the crest of a wave at the mo, he won last week and had a good weekend at Minehead. Anderson is just trying to pull himself together!
Whitlock against Wade WILL be a cracker. Whitlock in good form and Wade throwing like a man reborn. Its so good to see the Machine playing like his old old self, and i for one hope it carries on.
Barney v Thornton. 1st takes on joint 3rd. Barney is his old self has well and the Thorn isn't afraid of anyone. This will be a high scoring, high checkout match with everything in between.
Final match is Taylor against Hamilton. The Power is still off colour with his new darts, wonder if the old trusty Phase 5's come out this week. The Hammer is on a bit of a roll. He beat Phil at the weekend in Minehead in good style. Maybe Taylor will be out for revenge!
